Hello, doctors of crafts! I hope your day is going well. As far as I am concerned, it has been amazing as I've been preparing a very special post for you. So far, it is one of my favourite projects ever, so brace yourselves for the ultimate craftiness. Scroll down to learn how to frame your memories!
For the record, I have to admit, that I love Pinterest. Every time I need some inspiration, I visit this amazing website. And since the date of my relationship's anniversary was getting closer and closer, I needed some serious boost of craftiness. This is when I found the idea for Polaroid Photo Frame, and guys I can assure you that you will love it! Therefore, let's get to the point, shall we?
What we need:
- wooden frame
- a string
- frame hanging eyelets
- mini or regular size clothespins
- ruler or measuring tape
- pencil
- hammer (optionally)
- favourite polaroid photos!
As usual, I have found most of the tools on eBay. As for the frame, I purchased the cheapest option, which was white. However since I wanted my frame to be in a very special shade of navy blue, I added one tube of paint to my shopping list.
Don't forget about the most important aspect of this project - your favourite polaroid photos!I can definitely reccomend https://square-snaps.com.
If you want your frame to be more personalised, write special messages or hashtags on the bottom of chosen photos.
Once you are ready with the polaroids, you can start preparing canvas for your work of art!
1. Use the ruler/measuring tape and pencil to measure and mark the distance between the eyelets to match on each side. We want our photos to hang straight, don't we?
2. Lightly hammer the eyelets, until you can grasp them and twist them in.
3. Paint your frame (if you decide to do so)! Again, remember about your gloves and someting to put underneath your frame! Afterwards, let it dry before you proceed to the next steps.
4. Firmly tie up your string. If the string is quite thin, you can make a few circles around the eyelets and then tie it up.
5. Finally, HANG YOUR PHOTOS!
It looks amazing! Don't you agree? As always, I am looking forward to your comments. Your feedback is extremely important.
Good luck with your own DIY Frame for Polaroids!
