STARDUST BEER BOTTLE LAMP - a perfect gift for bae

Have you ever struggled to think of an original birthday gift for your second half? If yes, you are not alone pal! 

It is a serious challenge to come up with a unique idea, that will show them your love but also some creativity. 

Everyone loves personalised gifts, right? However, we all know how time-consuming these can be. What's more, we can all agree, that time is often the only resource, that we don't have enough of (as opposed to stress, problems, studying, working... well, thanks uni!). 

But don't you worry guys, cause this time you won't have to think about it anymore! 

In today's post I would like to share my idea for a perfect gift for your beer-loving boyfriend/girlfriend and that is a Stardust Beer Bottle Lamp. Sounds complicated? I promise, it's not. 

Basically what you need is:

- a bottle

- 2m led fairy lights

- sugar 

*optionally some artificial roses and blue tack

As for the roses and fairy lights, you can easily access them on eBay. I bought mine for £2.99 and £2.59 respectively. In Poundland, you will find your blue tack. 

What to do: 
1. To begin with your project, you have to take off the label of your bottle. In my case it was a beer by BrewDog.
2. Then, you need to put the batteries into your fairy lights and place them into the bottle.
3. You can now use the blue tack to stick the cable to the bottle so that it looks nice and tidy. 

4. By this moment, you have probably realised that your bottle is quite sticky due to the glue from the label. There is a creative solution to this problem - SUGAR! This will serve as our stardust. Roll your bottle in the sugar and check the results.

5. Finally, stick in your artificial roses. I chose black ones for my boyfriend.
